Dr. Floridea Di Ciommo

The seminar will discuss the transport Planning assessment tools for investments, urban plans, and transport policies and proposes three diferent tools to easily obtain an indication of the benefits and costs for whom of transport investments, urban plans and transport policies measures: the classical Cost-Benefits analysis utility based, the Multi Criteria Analisys regret based, and the Cost- Effectiveness analysis based on the accessibility variables. A tool that should be useful for decision-makers for clearly seeing where are the benefits and the costs, how much well fit their transport decision on various populations groups, and to be aware of new available assesment techniques for taking the best decision in the constraints they have.
