SIMETRIA. Simulation models for the evolution of global and regional transportation multi-modal scenarios

The main aim of this project is to develop the algorithms for strategic models treatment for transport multimodal planning including the interactions between transport modes and modal selection processes. The second aim is to develop traffic dynamic assignment multimodal models and the models associated to mobility matrices dynamic estimation.

Provision of solutions (with the required computational performance) for strategic planning models explicitly including the interactions amongst transport modes and the associated selection processes.

Provision of appropriate answers to scenarios with a shorter term planning or relative to global network subnets, as is the case of corridors and metropolitan areas considering operational aspects related to the traffic management system.
