On 7th July 2010 Prof. Francesc Robusté and Prof. Miquel Estrada from the Department for Transport Infrastructure and Territory at the School of Civil Engineering of Barcelona and CENIT have been awarded the “Consortium for Transportation of Madrid” Prize for the best article on urban and metropolitan transportation at 9th National Congress on Transport Engineering (CIT). This prize is awarded by the Regional Consortium for Transportation of Madrid.

The article proposes a new model for high-standard bus networks in an urban setting and its application to the city of Barcelona.
