Miquel Àngel Estrada Romeu is given the V abertis Transport Infrastructure Management Award

Miquel Àngel Estrada Romeu, lecturer at he School of Civil Engineering of Barcelona and researcher of CENIT, was given on October 17th the V abertis Transport Infrastructure Management Award for his PhD Thesis "Análisis de estrategias eficientes en la logística de distribución de paquetería" (Analysis of the efficient strategies for the logistics of parcel distribution) .

Ampliar imatge On October 17th, Miquel Àngel Estrada Romeu, PhD in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia, was given the abertis Award to the best research study regarding transport infrastructure management for his PhD Thesis "Análisis de estrategias eficientes en la logística de distribución de paquetería" (Analysis of the efficient strategies for the logistics of parcel distribution). The ceremony was presided by the UPC Rector, Antoni Giró. The head of the Public Works Department of the Autnonomous Government of Catalonia, Joaquim Nadal Farreras, the director of abertis, Salvador Alemany Mas and the director of the School of Civil Engineering of Barcelona.

The jury was made up of the following members: Salvador Alemany (president), Josep Martínez Vila, José Vicente Solano, Antoni Brunet and Sergi Loughney (secretary) from abertis; and Andrés López Pita, Félix Edmundo Pérez and Francesc Robusté (director of the abertis Chair and director of CENIT) from the Technical University of Catalonia.
