Participation at the Fourth Meeting of the Railway and Inter-modal Working Group of the South East Europe Transport Observatory (SEETO)

The meeting was held at Belgrade on 25th April 2007

Ampliar imatge The SEETO aims to promote the development of the core regional transport network of South East Europe by Improving and modernising the core transport network of South East Europe for social and economic development. The Core Network comprises 6100 km road, 4600 km rail, 640 km of waterways, 7 sea ports, 11 airports, 58 border crossings (road+rail) mainly located in the Balkan area.

Diego Fernández Belmonte, CENIT researcher, made a presentation on the topic “Track Access Charging in Practice” at the Fourth Meeting of the Railway and Inter-modal Working Group. CENIT was invited to participate by SEETO in order to provide an overview of current charging practices across Europe.
