Yuji Yoshimura – Coordinator of international projects
Yuji Yoshimura holds a MSc from UNESCO Chair in Technology, Sustainable Development, Imbalances and Global Change at the Technical University of Catalonia. After having worked at the Documentation Centre in the Barcelona Contemporary Culture Centre (CCCB) and UNESCO Chair of Sustainability, he worked at the Barcelona Urban Ecology Agency as project coordinator for all the European Union Projects and Local Projects in Spain. His work largely focuses on urban mobility and environmental analysis through emerging technology and its application to urban planning. He is the author of diverse publications in urbanism and architecture, including scientific research papers about emerging technologies and mobility. Also he has been invited to various lectures, conferences and workshops as the guest speaker. His blog, the life between Europe and Japan, has a great appreciation worldwide.
His research lines include:
- Vehicle and pedestrian flow analysis and simulation.
- Environmental analysis through wireless sensor and mobile technologies.
